Greg Sansum is a Financial Advisor with Cambridge Investment Research. Greg is also Managing Partner at Generations Wealth Advisors. Greg graduated as Valedictorian of his college class, with a B.S. in Computer Science. After working as a computer programmer and manager for 18 years, he decided to follow his true passion in 2004, Finance. Greg now gets immense satisfaction helping people retire better than they thought they could.
Greg believes in a “Pay Yourself First” way to save money to achieve long term financial goals. The idea is to save the amount necessary to get to the goal (i.e. retirement), and then figure out a way to pay the bills. This mentality leads to success!
Greg works closely with his clients to help keep them on the path to financial success. Greg believes that there are many more ways to diversify one’s portfolio than simply stocks and bonds!
Greg has developed a strong network of financial professionals to aide in helping his clients in other areas, such as estate planning, accounting, and P & C insurance, to name a few.
When he’s not advising on financials, Greg enjoys golfing, bowling, listening to Sci-Fi books in his car, and cooking. Greg enjoys spending time with his two adult sons, Colton and Scott, and he roots for all of the south Florida sports teams, having been in the area since 1985.
Greg is currently in the process of creating new, modern investment models that will generate more consistent results and make it easier to react in turbulent markets. Greg currently resides with his wife Stacey and their three cats. Greg is still hopeful of acquiring a dog one of these days when he gets a fenced-in yard!
Greg is licensed with a series 7 and series 66, and holds a Florida 2-15 insurance license. He is licensed to do business in Florida and many other states in the union. Greg is currently studying for the series 24 supervisory license.
