
Michael is a Wealth Advisor with Cambridge Investment Research and has been in the financial service industry since 1986. He worked as an options trader for 20 years for both Kidder Peabody and Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette. He became an advisor 14 years ago with Smith Barney before moving to J P Morgan as an advisor in their Private Client Division.
Accomplishments - Michael runs a diverse practice from well-established Fortune 500 executives to couples just starting to save for retirement and children’s education.
Philosophy - Michael’s goal is to get to know his clients as best he can so he may help them turn all of their financial dreams into a reality.
Personal - Michael has been married to his lovely wife Sharon since 1988; Sharon is a dually licensed Nurse Practitioner. Together they have 4 great children. Their son Michael Jr. Is a Technology Coordinator for the Board of Education of New York. They have three daughters, Allison a Board of Ed. Special education teacher, Kristen a registered ICU nurse, and Hannah their youngest who is entering NY Law school this fall.
Michael and Sharon split their time in New York between their home in Staten Island where their children were raised and their Country home in Walton NY in Delaware County where they enjoy the great outdoors and their newfound country life.
Michael enjoys cooking in his spare time as well as fly fishing, fly tying and canoeing.
He lists his favorite pastime above all as just spending time with his wife and children and their families.
Projects being worked on – Michael has recently transitioned his practice to Cambridge Investment Research, where he can better serve his clients due to the independence the firm affords him. He is currently learning the new tools at the broker-dealer that will help him and his clients prepare for their financial goals.
Michael is licensed with a series 7 and series 66, as well as a series 55. Michael is licensed to do business in New York, Florida, and 12 other states.
